We are SO excited to welcome you to our home! As the founders of XL Escapes, we pour our hearts into creating a space where you can relax, unwind, and make lasting memories.
With two rescue dogs—Holly from Bosnia and Buddy from All Bullie Rescue—and Nala, our beautiful ginger cat (and undisputed Queen of the house), we understand how important it is to feel not just at home, but truly content and relaxed—especially when traveling with your furry companions.
Our goal is to offer more than just a holiday; we want to provide a home away from home where you can escape daily pressures, have a laugh, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Whether it’s a cosy night in, exploring the local area, or simply making time for yourself, we’re here to make your stay special.
If you have any requests—big or small—just let us know. We’re always happy to help (and we love an excuse to bring a smile to your face, drink in hand, of course!).

Eve is a spacious coastal holiday home with panoramic sea views, where you can watch the sunrise over the sea from the lounge. Just a few minutes' walk from a dog-friendly beach, it's well suited to guests looking for a relaxing seaside break with their dogs.
Full Property Description:
Wake up to amazing panoramic sea views and watch the sun rise over the sea from the lounge.
The property has two comfortable bedrooms (one king and one twin), both with en-suite bath/corner shower rooms, 32-inch Smart TVs and memory foam mattresses.
The long open-plan living room includes a dining area, a large 6–8 seat sofa along one wall, two smaller sofas, a log burner, a 42-inch Smart TV with DVD player and a Bluetooth music system. Patio doors lead out to the garden and into a sunroom filled with board games, books and DVDs for days when the weather isn't so good.
There is Wi-Fi and oil-fired central heating throughout.
The spacious kitchen is well equipped, with a separate utility room offering a second sink, washing machine/dryer, a large additional fridge/freezer and space for dog crates if you bring them.
Outside, the paved front seating area enjoys the morning sun. The rear garden is laid to lawn with a patio, outdoor dining table and chairs, and four loungers. An outside sprinkler is provided for washing sandy paws after a trip to the beach.
All fencing is new and solid but is approximately 4 feet high to preserve the sea view, so owners of dogs that are able to jump low fencing should bear this in mind before booking.
The dog-friendly beach is only a few minutes' walk away, either via the road or a gravel track with steps leading down to the sand. Beyond the garden gate is a playing field that can be used for exercising dogs or enjoying a relaxed game of ball.
Both neighbouring properties are occupied by elderly single residents, meaning there is very little passing foot traffic or noise, making it a peaceful setting for dogs that benefit from quieter surroundings.
The California Tavern is only a short walk away and serves food, welcomes dogs and often hosts live music on Saturday evenings. There are also additional pubs, cafés, takeaways, shops, a bakery, fish and chip shop and a small garden centre all within walking distance.
