We are SO excited to welcome you to our home! As the founders of XL Escapes, we pour our hearts into creating a space where you can relax, unwind, and make lasting memories.
With two rescue dogs—Holly from Bosnia and Buddy from All Bullie Rescue—and Nala, our beautiful ginger cat (and undisputed Queen of the house), we understand how important it is to feel not just at home, but truly content and relaxed—especially when traveling with your furry companions.
Our goal is to offer more than just a holiday; we want to provide a home away from home where you can escape daily pressures, have a laugh, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Whether it’s a cosy night in, exploring the local area, or simply making time for yourself, we’re here to make your stay special.
If you have any requests—big or small—just let us know. We’re always happy to help (and we love an excuse to bring a smile to your face, drink in hand, of course!).
Meet Your Hosts
Countryside Keepsakes began from something deeply personal.
After losing one of their own beloved fur babies a few years ago, the owners decided they wanted memorial rings containing her cremation ashes — something meaningful they could carry with them every single day.
With a workshop full of tools and a determination to create something special themselves, they made their own rings… and they turned out absolutely beautiful.
What started as a personal project soon became something friends and family wanted too, slowly growing into a full-time passion for creating meaningful handmade jewellery — from memorial pieces that hold precious memories close, to completely unique wedding bands designed to last a lifetime.
As fellow XL Bully owners and lovers themselves, they understand just how deep the bond with our dogs truly runs ❤️

Working with everything from Titanium and Stainless Steel to Damascus Steel, sparkling Opal, Gemstones, Hypercar Grade Carbon Fibre, specialist M3 materials, Meteorite and even Dinosaur Bone 🤯, no two creations ever feel quite the same.
Every piece is individually turned, shaped, cut, sanded and polished by hand to achieve that perfect finish. The focus isn’t mass production — it’s craftsmanship, quality and creating something that genuinely matters to the person wearing it.
All rings arrive beautifully presented in a wooden keepsake box and include a care sheet to help protect and prolong the life of your special piece.

As this is a working workshop with machinery regularly in use, dogs unfortunately can’t safely come inside the workshop itself. However, they’re more than welcome to relax nearby on a comfy bed by the step while their humans visit or collect pieces.
