Seagreen View is a spacious, dog-friendly seaside home designed for holidays where the whole family comes along.
Spend sunny mornings relaxing with a cuppa in the conservatory before opening the doors onto the decked area and garden. The fully enclosed garden has plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, with seating, a lawned area, garden day bed and sun loungers.
When it’s time to eat, cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen with seating for 10, or head outside for an all-weather barbecue in the cabin. Light the firepit, put some music on and settle in for the evening.
There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather. Challenge each other to pool, table tennis or darts in the games room, while younger guests have their own snug complete with arcade machine, games, books, toys, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and TV.
For quieter evenings, light the log burner in the family room, get everyone together and enjoy a movie night with Sky TV, a Wii console and DVD player.
The furry members of the family are just as welcome. Up to 10 dogs or cats can stay, with no restrictions on size, age, breed or drool, and the owners may sometimes be able to accommodate even more. Dogs can explore every room and nap wherever they choose, so there’s no need for them to suddenly follow different rules just because they’re on holiday.

The Duckegg Room has a double bed and TV, while The Hideaway has a double bed.
The Seaside room has two single beds, a nightlight and safety gate.
There’s also a family bathroom with tub bath and rainfall shower, an additional shower room and a downstairs toilet.
The utility room includes a washer, dryer, airer, American-style fridge freezer, cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board, while Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Local Area Guide:
Seagreen View sits on the edge of Silloth, a seaside town on the Cumbrian coast, in a quiet location by the golf course.
The town and its secluded sandy beach are only a few minutes' walk away. Silloth has a large community green, promenade, traditional amusement arcade, visiting funfair, splash pad, pirate ship play area, BMX track, tennis courts, football pitches and several play areas.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally, including tearooms, cafés, restaurants and pubs, with several dog-friendly options.
For days when you fancy exploring further afield, the owners recommend destinations including Whinlatter Forest, Dodd Wood, Buttermere, Keswick, Allonby, Grune Point, Noble Knott and Crummock Water.
The Lake District market town of Keswick can also be visited from Seagreen View, while guests can head across to Scotland and the famous Gretna Green.
Meet The Owners
Hi everyone!
I am Melanie, and I am the person who you will speak to for everything Seagreen.
My full-time job is everything Seagreen, so I am always on hand to help in any way I can.
My hobbies consist of Seagreen, but I also like movies, TV shows and books.
In 1995, at the age of 21, I married Gary. He worked at ASDA before retiring. He loves to play golf and supports Spurs football club.
In 1996, we had our daughter, Charlotte, who works as a therapist. Her partner, Chris, also works in mental health, and they have a furry baby called Milo, plus rabbits Brucie and Suzie.
In 1998, we had our son, William, who works as an accountant and loves food. He married Elle, who is a therapist, in 2024, and they have a furry baby called Eli.
2017 saw the arrival of Maisie to our family, our furry little pug. Wherever we go, she goes, and she is the reason why Seagreen is so dog friendly.
We also have to include our amazing housekeeper, Catherina (and her sidekick). Without them, there would be no Seagreen and no perfect holidays for our guests. They prepare the house for your arrival, are there for you throughout your stay and very often wave you off when you leave.
Seagreen first opened its doors to guests in 2020 and has been full of families ever since.
