Set on the owners’ smallholding in Ulgham, this detached ground-floor cottage blends comfort and countryside charm. The open-plan living space includes a comfy seating area with a 32" TV, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances — perfect for relaxing evenings after exploring Northumberland.
The spacious bedroom features a king-size bed and its own TV, while the shower room provides everything you need for a convenient stay. There’s also a sofa bed in the lounge, ideal for younger guests.
Outside, a wrap-around decked area with garden furniture offers a lovely spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Guests can also enjoy shared access to the owners’ grounds and even stabling for horses by arrangement.
With private parking, Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches like travel cot and highchair availability, The Cockles is designed for easy, relaxed living — a true countryside escape.
