Full Property Description:
The camping field at Lands End Camping & Glamping is large, flat, and well-drained, with most pitches enjoying distant sea views and spectacular sunsets. Located within a Dark Sky Park, it’s the perfect place to stargaze by night and wake up to birdsong and the sound of the ocean by morning.
There are 20 pitches available, each with plenty of space to spread out. Electric hook-ups are available, along with water fill points and chemical disposal. Facilities include a modern shower and toilet block (with accessible options), a dishwashing area with fridge/freezer and microwave, a drying room, and free WiFi. Guests can also borrow a chiminea for evening fires (first come, first served) and purchase firewood on site.
From the campsite you can walk straight onto the South West Coast Path, explore the golden sands at Sennen Cove (just 3 minutes by car), or discover hidden coves like Nanjizal. Penzance, St Ives, St Michael’s Mount, and the Minack Theatre are all within easy reach for day trips.
For dog owners, this is more than just a campsite. A private paddock is available for safe, off-lead play — with fencing set on top of a 5ft grassed bank and approx. 1m-high secure panels. Owners of XL/Exempt dogs can use the paddock by arrangement, giving their pups the freedom to run muzzle-free in safety. Around the site, dogs must be kept on leads due to free-range chickens and local wildlife.

XL Escapes Peace Of Mind Promise
Every business you see on XL Escapes has confirmed to us that they welcome XL Bullies.
Before being listed, we ask the questions we’d want answered ourselves — from real experience living and travelling with XL and reactive dogs. That includes confirming they are happy to host XL Bullies, that their listing details are accurate, and that they’ve considered their own legal and insurance responsibilities.
We don’t assume. We don’t guess. We ask — and they confirm.
If anything changes or a business doesn’t stand by what they’ve told us, we take it seriously.
If a business listed on XL Escapes turns you away because of your dogs breed, contact us. We will review it, remove them if necessary, and refund your membership.
